Posted by CDHM Info On June - 28 - 2018

Summer has arrived and it is a time for sunshine, barbecues, family and friends! I thought this would be a good time to introduce myself to you as your Registrar of the College of Dental Hygienists of Manitoba.

Over the past 4 months I have had the pleasure of meeting some of you and I look forward to many more opportunities to connect with all dental hygienists in Manitoba. Everyone has so many great stories to share!

There are a number of things going on at the College; here is a preview of what to look for in the coming months.

Celebration Time! The CDHM is celebrating its 10-year Anniversary! 2008-2018; we are looking ahead to what the next 10 years will bring! Join us at the AGM on October 27th to celebrate dental hygiene in Manitoba!

Website Watch for our new CDHM website, a new look for the next decade! Information for registrants will be easily accessible; it should be live towards the end of summer.

Newsletter A re-introduction of a familiar resource! We will send it to you in August!

Upgraded Alinity Software The new version 6 will enable the College to serve you better; forms will be mobile friendly, CPR & CCP documents will be able to be uploaded directly into Alinity! Much more to come later.

Continuing Competency There will be a few changes coming; ones that I think will streamline your submissions.

CDHM/MDHA Joint Committee Follow the work of this important Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA) Committee on the ‘News’ portion of the website and newsletter.

Kind Regards,

Arlynn
